No accounts, no sign-up

This site and its API are entirely read-only and don't require an account. There's no sign-up form, no login, and nothing here asks you for a name, email address, or any other personal information.

What gets logged

Every request to the API is logged — for operational monitoring and abuse detection, not analytics or tracking. Each log entry records only the HTTP method, request path, response status, response time, which kind of route was hit, and whether it was a sandbox request. It does not include your IP address, query string parameters (like a search term), cookies, or any request headers. These logs are sent to Datadog and are visible only to the person running this project.

This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which — like any host — will necessarily process standard connection metadata (such as IP address) as part of serving requests over the network. That processing is governed byCloudflare's own privacy policy, not this one.

Cookies and browser storage

This site itself does not set cookies or use browser storage. The embeddable widget script (/widgets/team-stats.js) does cache a team's fetched stats in localStorage— but that happens in the browser of whichever site embeds the widget, under that site's own domain, purely to avoid a repeat network request for up to 30 days. This project has no access to that stored data.

Third-party embeds

If you encounter a team-stats widget on someone else's website, that website's own privacy policy governs how it handles your data — this policy only covers pblidb.org itself.

Data about teams and players

The tournament data this API serves — team names, player names, match results, and the like — is not "your data" in the sense this policy is about; it's public tournament information captured from PBLeague's own public pages.
